Description

JOB SUMMARY:                      Responsible for the coordination of training programs sponsored by the Human Resources department, as well as the facilitation of the new hire orientation program, and other support functions for the department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:     

  • Coordinate, host, and facilitate the agency new hire orientation program.
  • Produce and distribute training reports as required by the program personnel and for employee personnel files.
  • Create agency surveys through Survey Monkey; filter and share responses as requested.
  • Coordination of agency sponsored trainings (in-house and outsourced), such as Cultural Diversity, Ethics, Management trainings, various Clinical and wellness workshops, etc.
  • Collaborate with schools, community partners, and other presenters to map out training schedules, and market training opportunities to employees and provide necessary information.
  • Gather staff’s and trainers’ feedback received through training and orientation evaluations and surveys, with the Employee Relations and Engagement Officer to help assess training needs and to ensure the effectiveness of the programs.  Assist in researching new training opportunities.
  • Ensure CEU availability for clinical course offerings.
  • Provide support during personnel audits.
  • Coordination of Virtus trainings and Relias. Perform account set ups and maintain updated curriculum and training records.
  • Facilitate the agency intern/volunteer programs – match interns/volunteers with the program needs, and collaborate with program volunteer coordinators to maintain the statistics on agency’s volunteer hours.
  • Assist in sourcing resumes for open positions and provide other recruitment support as needed.
  • Manage the agency performance evaluation process.
  • Assist with background checks, health screenings, and skills testing as needed.
  • Assist with employment verifications as needed.
  • Run and distribute system reports.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

 

OTHER DUTIES:  Assists with departmental projects as needed (Benefits Fair, Supervisor orientations, Employee Recognition events, Open enrollment, Audits, etc.).  Provide administrative support as needed.  Participates in CAS and agency wide events and supports them as required.

Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Associates + 2 years of related experience handling HR functions, event coordination, and prior training/orientation exp.  Service-oriented with strong communication, follow-up, organizational, research, and analytical skills.  Proficient in Microsoft office products, and experience or aptitude necessary to learn and maintain training databases and HRIS.  Exp. in e-learning platforms preferred.
