S/He will ensure that all vendor bills and cash payments are booked and allocated correctly with sufficient evidence in compliance with GAAP, and according to company policy. Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $60k - $73k. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with matching. In this role, you will: Review and process vendor invoices for two-way and three-way match Research and resolve invoice and purchase order discrepancies Respond to vendor invoice/payment inquiries and resolve any discrepancies on a timely manner Appropriate project codes are assigned to invoices Ensure sales and use tax is accrued as necessary Initiate and review weekly payment runs including ACH, Wires, Checks Collect new vendor W-9s and assist in year-end 1099 reporting and filing Assist with month-end close related to vendor statement reconciliation and accruals Maintain digital invoice files. Provide year-end audit support by preparing requested schedules and supporting documents Work on special projects when assigned by management   Position Requirements Essential Requirements: Proven working experience processing accounts payable Demonstrated solid understanding of basic accounting principles Accuracy and attention to detail Commitment to providing quality work in a timely manner Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships Strong verbal and written communication skills Approachable customer service orientation and “can do” attitude Strong organizational skills Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks/projects Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel skills required Experience with Infor Syteline or similar enterprise reporting systems preferred Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 1-3 years of Accounting or Accounts Payable experience   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Position Accounts Payable Specialist   Location Palo Alto (HQ)   About the Organization SCITON is an industry leader and manufacturer of medical aesthetic lasers and light source technologies.
