As Financial Controller you will be responsible for the company's day to day financial activities. Your role combines aspects from financial accounting as well as managerial accounting. You will report to the CFO. We aren't looking for the ordinary; we are looking for the extraordinary! Think this describes you, then please keep reading:

Essential Duties

  • Attention to detail is priority #1 for the accounting team at Mans. Please be prepared to support your level of detail orientation during any in-person interviews.
  • Familiarity with the Ascentis HRIS technology suite will catapult you to priority #1 of candidate consideration.
  • Oversee and heavily participate in the activities of the accounts receivable department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, customer disputes and inquires, etc.
  • Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll, including updating employee numbers, hours, garnishments, etc. Prepare payroll related reports. Record, maintain and update payroll procedures. Maintain employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminations. Ensure corporate payroll tax compliance.
  • Spearhead and lead special project initiatives. Identifying the inches around us and strategizing to turn those inches into efficiencies.
  • Manage day to day treasury functions of the company.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the 401k plan, including complying with ERISA's reporting and disclosure requirements; maintaining plan records; and routine tasks such as processing election forms distribution requests including hardship withdrawals and loans. Prepare documents and work with the CPAs for the 401k audit.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconcile financial statements and accounts, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Oversee the activities of the payables department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, and employee expense reports.
  • Support our CFO and respond with well thought out, accurate and timely work that proactively connects the dots.
  • Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
