Description

Tahoe Donner Association is looking for high energy, fast paced Campground Manager to join our operations! The responsibility of our Campground Manager is to ensure that the Campground facilities are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and are kept operationally ready.

Position Requirements

We are looking for applicants who exhibit the following qualities:

Prior experience as a campground host or manager is preferred.

Applicants must be able to:

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills allowing them to communicate both verbally and in writing to the campground community.
  • Demonstrated “hosting” experience in a campground or similar setting.
  • General knowledge of maintenance in similar situations such as parks, landscaping, and facility management.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certifications recommended.
  • Requires possession of valid Class C Driver License with a driving record meeting the minimum standards required by the Association insurance carrier.
  • Working knowledge of both water, sewer and pump operations.
  • Desired basic working knowledge of electrical systems
  • Desired prior basic carpentry experience
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills.
  • Prior Campground operations, maintenance, and management experience highly desirable.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent and six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform all of the duties of the position.
