Together we build our future! Cogent is currently seeking a Laborer/Maintenance Technician to join the team! This position is full-time and will operate out of our Wichita Kansas location. As Laborer/Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for: Maintains cleanliness and organization within the shop; sweeps shop floors daily, scrubs shop floors as required, empties recycling bins, replaces lights, empties shop scrap into proper scrap bins, and performs other requested maintenance as requested Maintains cleanliness and organization within the yard; picks-up trash daily, keeps old pallets cut up and properly disposed of, etc. Performs maintenance to the office facility; changes light bulbs, empties recycle bins, and other duties as assigned by management Organizes customer inventory and new inventory as directed by others. Cleans service vehicles on a regular basis Delivers equipment for service jobs as requested Assists in the loading and unloading of pumps and equipment for clients, salesmen, and service personnel Helps with shipping and receiving Under the direction of the Service Manager, performs general shop duties as needed   Position Laborer   Position Requirements A Qualified Candidate will have the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High School diploma or GED required Previous experience in facility maintenance or general labor preferred Forklift certification required (or within 90 days of hire-training provided) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; Class E license required (or within 90 days of hire) Ability to lift up to 70 pounds Organization and maintenance skills.
