Common Responsibilities: Consistently work cooperatively with administration, residents, residents representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants and ancillary service providers Plan, supervise, and evaluate total resident needs, nursing care and progress by making daily rounds Provide assistance, direction and teaching of nursing care to all nursing personnel Observe facility policy and procedures Participate in the hiring of nursing personnel Assist in planning, organizing, and directing nursing service Establish open lines of communication between all nursing personnel and consistently take follow-up action as necessary Complete reports and assignments accurately and adhere to established time schedules Participate in the facility Quality Assurance Program, MDS Compliance, and Quality Indicator Performance.
