We are currently seeking an Life Enrichment/Activity Assistant to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists Activity Director in assuring compliance with State regulations and company policy procedures in the conduct of the activity program for residents. Assists Activity Director in decorating monthly activity board in compliance with company requirements, if required to do so. Assures maximum possible attendance at all activities. At direction of Activity Director, assures one-on-one activity with residents who do not participate in large group or small group activities. Independently conducts simultaneous activities based on instruction from Activity Director. Conducts activities in the absence of the Activity Director. If requested to do so, assists the Activity Director in planning, securing transportation, securing volunteers, working with Director and Resident Care Director is securing staff, and accompanying residents in any out-of-facility activity. Is responsible for security of residents during and out-of-facility activity, e.g., assuring that residents are always accounted for. As requested, assists in and attends family and marketing events. Assists Activity Director in maintaining activity areas, including common areas and storage areas, in organized, uncluttered, appropriately decorated manner. Attends all scheduled and unscheduled in services and meetings as requested by Executive Director. Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.   Position Requirements EXPERIENCE: Preference may be given to candidates with experience in senior care activities, either as an employee or volunteer. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to lift, push, pull, carry 40 pounds. Ability to move about the building quickly to assist residents in the event of an emergency.
