Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Director of Behavioral Health Operations, this position will be responsible for supporting the fiscal operational success of direct service behavioral health programs. Program areas include: Veteran mental health, peer support, intensive case management, fitness center, wellness services and zero suicide initiative. This division provides services with funds from a mixture of sources to include grants, government contracts, third party reimbursement and philanthropy. The position is responsible for ensuring seamless team management and development, successful program delivery, and quality control and evaluation.

 
Position Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the fiscal operations with reporting, reconciling and compliance review for all BH programs.
  • Support the grant writing process with budget development and allocation of proposed funds.
  • Ensure grant/contract fiscal deliverables are achieved and reported accurately, on schedule, according to contract specifics.
  • Support the development of consistent, objective program performance standards of accountability.
  • Collaboratively work with accounting staff to establish processes for program staff that are efficient, accurate and timely.
  • Work with staff to develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) across all programs to ensure consistent, high-quality metrics, evaluation and goal setting for all employees.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service, in everything you do, by placing the child, family, Veteran, or client first to support our mission to “Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities.”

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Minimum of a Bachelors in Accounting, MA preferred.

EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years’ experience in procuring and managing state and federal contracts. Experience managing budgets of $1-5 million; Demonstrated success developing and evaluating program models, and experience successfully operating innovative programs.

Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool and experience working with information technology staff to develop and implement program evaluation systems. Strong project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth. Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive peer group.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.

LICENSES: Drivers License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
