As a Cashier, you will use cash registers, electronic scanners, and related equipment to conduct monetary transactions with customers. So what are you waiting for… come join us! Essential Job Duties: Accept money in the form of cash, checks, and credit or debit cards for items purchased; validates checks Ensure accurate transactions by balancing cash register and sales at the end of shift Will be cross-trained in handling preparing the front cooler, making smoothies, coffees, and other duties as assigned Other Job Duties & Responsibilities: Greet customers as they enter the location Identify prices of products and services and tabulates bills with available equipment. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.   Position Requirements Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills Good verbal communication skills Ability to operate equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, and/or scanners Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change and give refunds Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills with strong follow through Preferred Skills / Experience Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash registers Traits / Characteristics High initiative, autonomous, and self-governing Strong critical thinker & attention to detail Flexible, collaborative, & a team player Critical thinker & analytical skills Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash registers Physical / Environmental Demands: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
