Responsible for delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel. Assumes a lead role in patient teaching. Places the patient at the center of care practices. Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes. May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.<br><br>Licensure: License to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio.<br><br>Experience: Previous experience preferred, but not required.<br><br>Physical Effort: Requires full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity, eye hand coordination, standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50-pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.<br><br>Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, families, and co-workers.
