Practices Joint Township District Memorial Hospital’s Professional Practice Model Principles. Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The Nurse Assistant performs a variety of basic patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient. Places the patient at the center of care practices. Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and support for the patient’s therapeutic treatment plan. May be required to work on other nursing units or shifts, must be capable of physically assisting patients, dealing with patient emergencies, and working as a member of a clinical team.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Must meet State mandated criteria
Licensure: State testing certificate
Experience: Psychiatric experience preferred.
