Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm with flexibility to work early mornings and late evenings. Since 1971, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.  The Opioid Treatment Program at Hampton Roads Clinic offers a unique and specialized program for adults with a long history of dependence on opiates such as prescription pain medications, heroin, and morphine. The program offers a full range of services to help individuals achieve recovery from opiate dependency and improve their quality of life. The Therpaist I manages a predetermined caseload in an outpatient setting which involves the assessment evaluation of incoming clients, individual, group and family counseling, educational sessions and discharge/aftercare planning for clients. Must be registered as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) with the Virginia Board of Counseling or register to receive CSAC Supervision Approval within 60 days of employment.  CSAC Supervisor will be provided.
