The Leadership and Management Trainer/Consultant is responsible for assessing and creating diagnostic action plans, and providing solutions to clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Successfully work with leaders and managers to assess, diagnose, and create action plans in areas on leadership, coaching and performance management.
• Effectively identify and define key leadership and management situations, problems and opportunities through diagnostic analysis and evaluation practices.
• Successfully help resolve situations and problems, and capitalize on opportunities by validating the most effective solutions as well as gaining required commitments for putting the solutions into action.
• Provide follow through as needed to ensure successful implementation of actions targeted for achieving desired results through sound execution, timely follow-up and adjustments where required.
• Provide clients with leadership, coaching and performance management concepts, terminology and competencies needed to successfully benefit their business.
• Deliver innovative leadership workshops in ways that increase client capabilities and satisfaction.
• Learn the knowledge, skills and attitude needed to successfully deliver leadership and management workshops through observation, presentations, and studies.
• Act as appropriate to support the company’s successful sales and marketing of its services and products.
• Sell and provide add-on, billed services for clients to help solve specific business issues.
• Use ideas and information gathered in the field to continually contribute to development and improvement of products and services.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, however requirement may be satisfied with equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 10-15 years of General Manager or Dealer Principal experience preferred.
• OEM or dealership group management experience considered an asset.
• Advanced knowledge of automotive dealership financial statements and financial management best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of automotive dealership operations and business acumen.
• Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Office.
• Strong time management skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Demonstrate initiative; be a self-starter.
• Employee must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record as driving on company business may be required.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to stand, walk, sit, speak, hear, see and use hands to handle objects.
• Must be able to answer phone and listen and speak with clients and co-workers.
• Ability to travel.
