The Crisis Intervention Team Assessment Center Manager manages day to day programmatic and clinical operations of the Crisis Intervention Team Assessment Center (CITAC) and 23hr. program serves as part of development of a comprehensive Crisis Receiving Center (CRC). Responsible for the work of current CITAC operations to include partner engagement integrating resources across multiple local hospitals, law enforcement agencies and first responders. Works with managers and directors in planning and implementation strategies for full CRC development. Ensures that CITAC and 23hr. services are responsive, efficient and congruent with the CSB’s clinical and fiscal goals and objectives. Ensure program operations are in compliance with applicable regulatory, licensure and accreditation standards. Provides clinical direction and consultation to a range of staff and directs activities to include: preliminary mental status assessments, short-term crisis intervention, triage and referral. Collaborates with the Clinical Services Administrator to develop, manage and monitor program budgets, completes necessary administrative activities and develops, monitors and assesses productivity and outcomes data.

Requirement: Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work with five (5) years clinical experience including therapeutic counseling, crisis intervention and case management functions with the targeted population. Program supervision or management experience required. Must provide proof of registration for supervision toward licensure with the Virginia Department of Health Professionals (LPC or LCSW) within 90 days of employment. The incumbent must be a state certified pre-screener or pre-screener certification training modules must be successfully completed within 90 days of employment. VA licenced LPC or LCSW preferred.
The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
