ROHADFOX is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with regional offices throughout the United States.   Description Works under direction of an Area Construction Manager to support the planning, coordination, and evaluation of the project financial and status reports, and presentations. Performs project development duties, including conducting detailed issue and data analyses, framing recommendations and options for consideration, developing detailed project plans, and assessing impacts and results. Communicates promptly and effectively to requests for response, research and information, gathers answer through communications with department staff. Responsible and accountable for tracking the approved project budget and for issuing appropriate progress reports as required. The report shall include a register of completed tasks, and all payments issued. Responsible for cost allocation to appropriate projects and for the timely and accurate review and processing of applicable invoices. Maintains cost controls for all project-related activities in strict adherence to the approved project budget. Participates in the development of the budget forecast and reports for the Manager. Reviews monthly cost reports generated by the contractor/CMR and reconciles with current contractual documents (such as GMP’s or CGMP’s). Analyzes and reports findings to the Manager. Reviews contractor provided procurement documents in support of the project budget. (OAF’s, AAF’s and CGMP’s). Reviews funding availability and validates funding of change orders, supplemental agreements, and work orders, assists in the preparation of financial reprogramming documents, prepares invoices for submittal to invoice compliance and recommends approval of payments to contractors. Assists on a continual basis in the analyses and appraisals of project costs. Reviews cost proposals from contractor/CMR to verify basis of estimated cost, including pricing structure, level of effort, material pricing, and associated direct/indirect costs. Other tasks as may be assigned     Position Requirements Prefer experience with engineering and construction projects in the transportation industry. Experience performing cost controls functions for Rail / Transit projects is preferred. Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field Requires high degree of precision. Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation skills Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and contractors.
