Processes and follows-up on all Medical Mutual of Ohio (MMO), United Healthcare (UHC), and United Medical Resources (UMR) claims until proper reimbursement is received. Works under the supervision of the Patient Accounts Manager.
High School diploma required. Must exhibit strong math and computer skills. Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills in interacting with customers, insurance companies, and hospital personnel. Must demonstrate self motivation and critical thinking. Detailed oriented. Works well in a group setting. Prior healthcare billing experience preferred.
