WHO YOU ARE 
As our Training Support Specialist, we know you will be successful in this role because of your: 
 

  • Keen Attention to Detail: You make planning a workshop look easy, from room layout and having fresh coffee to ensuring each dollar is accounted for in the training budget.

  • Ability to Leverage Technology: You will use your systems superpower to quickly learn our existing performance appraisal and learning management systems and assist with implementing a new HRIS. 
  • Storytelling: Your finesse with people and communication naturally leads you to tell a story so what you’re communicating is relatable and memorable. 
  • Hustle: You like to keep busy, welcome handling multiple projects, and happily flex to meet competing priorities.   

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Administer course library, registrations, and certifications, including compliance documentation such as safety trainings and recertifications, through the learning management system.  
  • Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions. 
  • Provide ongoing development and support for new employee orientation and onboarding.  
  • Communicate with managers and employees on the expectations and timelines of the performance review process. 
  • Monitor training budget and participate in grant and funding activities.   

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited two (2) year college and two (2) years of Human Resources experience; and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Prefer candidates with at least two (2) years of experience developing eLearning trainings, managing SKORM training files, and administrating a learning management system. 
  • Successful applicants must live and work in Washington State to perform this role. 
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
