Inside/Outside Sales Representative, Farmington, New Mexico

This position provides sales support for two affiliated companies: Quadco, LLC and Southwest Power Tools, LLC. Both companies are recognized leaders in the oil and gas services industry. As an integral component of our overall product and service suite, we provide our customers with the sales and service of: instrumentation, relief valves, chemical injection pumps and industrial tools for various aspects of drilling, production, gathering, refining and transmission of oil and gas products.

The Farmington Sales Representative works cooperatively with the Quadco and Southwest Power Tools district team members to manage customer relationships and achieve sales goals. The position is based in Farmington, NM and reports directly to the Farmington District Manager. The individual in this position must possess a strong work ethic; have excellent communication skills; be bright and attentive to customers and suppliers; have a positive and comfortable demeanor; be precise, timely and accurate in their business dealings; embrace additional training; foster new product line introduction, and be willing to be mentored for continuous improvement.

 
Position Requirements

The successful Inside / Outsides Sales Representative shall have the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a complete understanding of Company products and services.
  • Provide quotes and proposals.
  • Assist with order fulfillment and deliveries.
  • Achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Research and provide forecasting for sales activities in the assigned sales territory or account.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of sales targets and customer satisfaction metrics to enhance customer relationships and company brand.
  • Identify customers' needs and resultant sales opportunities through sales calls designed to drive company growth and profitability while adding value to customers.
  • Conduct all aspects of sales process from introductory calls creating and building new relationships to maintenance calls designed to enhance and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Respond to customer concerns in a positive and proactive manner.
  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers to build positive business relationships that will generate future sales.
  • Demonstrate a mastery of available sales tools, marketing materials and sales processes to promote an efficient and effective sales process.
  • Embrace additional training and new product line training.
  • Contribute to the company’s continuous improvement culture.
  • Learn and comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate business confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Experience & Educational Requirements

The Inside / Outside Sales Representative will have minimum of 10 years oilfield experience with a background in operations, sales and/or marketing. College associates degree or higher preferred; however, experience level and equivalent skill set may substitute.

 

Required Capabilities

The Inside / Outside Sales Representative should meet the following requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Professional written and oral communication skills with proper phone etiquette and a customer service mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to present and sell at the field, shop, and leadership level.
  • Competitive personal drive and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company.
  • Ability to work independently and as a productive team member.
  • Ability to work up to and over 40 hours per week as necessary.
  • Ability to work legally in the U.S.A.
  • Ability to travel periodically to perform and support sales activities.
  • Ability to hold valid driver's license.
