Share Email Opening Title Jr. Facilitys Coordinator  Number of Openings 1   Description Position Summary: Responsible for Building and Support Equipment Maintenance.   Position Requirements Qualifications Required: • Should possess a license or expertise in one of the following areas: • Contracting • Electrician • Plumbing • HVAC • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills • General maintenance skills • Electrical background a plus • Proactive scheduling of Preventative Maintenance and facility upkeep • Good attitude: the ability to work well with others and be a team player • Good communication skills Qualifications desired: N/A Essential functions and responsibilities: • Oversee outside contractors and ensure proper certifications and expertise • Perform routine building and equipment maintenance and repairs • Oversee the maintenance of the exterior grounds and structures • Work on Continuous Improvement projects as needed • Notify management of necessary extended repairs and or spare parts • Completion of all pertinent maintenance paperwork • Participant in Corrective Action meetings • Report any potential food safety, quality of food defense concerns to the plant manager or quality personnel • Maintain product safety, legality, regulatory compliance and quality systems • Follow all documented Good Manufacturing Practices • Must follow all company policies and procedures • This is a Safety Sensitive Position (drug test may be required) Non-essential skills and experience: • Other duties as required Success factors/job competencies: • Hands-on type person • Ability to manage projects and follow through with details • Willingness to learn and take responsibility of new equipment and processes • Hardworking and dedicated to the proper operation and appearance of the facility • Ability to direct and train others Physical demands and work environment: • Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls: reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear.
