Security Training Supervisor $21.50 per hour**
The J8 Security team has been providing exceptional security services to prestigious companies in the Greater Cleveland and Akron Areas for more than 30 years. We are looking for individuals who want to become a part of a growing, open-minded, positive thinking company.
Position Overview:
This position’s purpose is to be third in command over the J8 Officers at the customer location. The Training Officer is tasked with training and development of all new and existing officers.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all site training
Will act as on-site custodian of all training documents
Will continually update and tailor training to meet the needs of each post
Completing disciplinary actions pertaining to training issues
Conduct monthly in-service training
Participate in department & Supervisor meetings
Complete J8 Security Officer Performance Reviews
Make sure uniforms are up to standard for officers on each shift
Conduct annual training audits
Maintaining a line of communication with the client
Review reports for officer for clarity and accuracy
Complete 2 post inspections per week
Schedule:
Full-time position must be available to conduct training on all shifts.

High School diploma/GED
Good physical condition
Minimum 3-5 years supervisory security or military experience preferred
21 years or older
Legally authorized to work in the USA

Ability to direct subordinates and willing to work with them to create a better shift. Able to walk and sit for long periods of time. Required to train inside & outside throughout the year.
