STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL is a MUST Possess a HIGH level of organizational skills. A strong desire to be successful. Knowledge and prior experience working with maintenance software. Experience with Maintenance Connection software a plus Work experience in a Truck shop is preferred. Location: FULTONVILLE, NY Job Duties: Works with the fleet manager, dispatcher, and drivers regarding necessary service for routine service and maintenance Prepares a repair work order showing time, cost, and labor estimates for service. Maintains vehicle and trailer data in the maintenance computer system. Provides complete and accurate written work orders for scheduled maintenance, breakdowns, emergency repair work, etc. Notifies shop manager of incoming work. Works with the parts department to ensure the correct parts are ordered or in stock. Obtains proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed. Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization are noted. Closes repair order as appropriate Develops and maintain an effective service checklist. Makes sure this checklist is completed by the mechanic and submitted for review and final approval. Handles inquiries regarding upcoming services and work in process. Assists with warranty claims. Keeps work area clean. Other duties as assigned, including assisting the shop manager in other capacities.   Position Requirements   Benefits Medical Insurance, group life, vacation, paid holidays, 401k w/ 8% match.
