SUMMARY
Responsible for all aspects of account opening, maintenance, and review related to the Trust and Wealth Management branch in Searcy. Assists team in performing, monitoring and documentation of various functions and as responsibilities required in concurrence with established policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works at the direction of trust officers and experienced administrators.
- Maintain tact, discretion, customer confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential.
- Provide customers with exceptional customer service and execute operational excellence. In person: Greet every customer with a smile, maintain eye contact, call them by name, stay connected in conversation and let them know they are appreciated. When on the telephone: Speak with a smile, call them by name, stay connected in the conversation and let them know they are appreciated.
- Assist with operational issues using internal Bank and Trust Software to deposit funds, to process distributions, or to effect transactions.
- Open new accounts, obtain required information and verify accuracy. Set up and maintain related files and documentation.
- Visually review and check reports on past transactions to determine accuracy, identify any discrepancies and resolve.
- Compose letters of instruction and/or authorization.
- Make travel arrangements when requested.
- Opening and closing office based on schedule.
- Receive, determine and direct clients and visitors in professional manner. Keep front lobby and conference room(s) clean, organized and prepared for client visits.
- Responsible for the majority of document scanning within the department.
- Perform miscellaneous duties such as: type correspondence and documents; print copies and scanning documents; mail printed materials; file; maintain reference books and materials.
- Communicate and exchange conversation with staff and vendors to review functions. Distribute appropriate information to internal and external partners. Identify needs of internal and external customer.
- Assist with operational issues using Trust Software to deposit funs or process distributions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers and understand percentages. Ability to perform these mathematical skills using money and other forms of measurement.
- Operate keyboard, telephone, scanner and copier. Basic computer skills including general knowledge in MS Office Outlook, typing, 10 key and the internet. Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel will be required. Proficiency with internal bank and Trust software will be required.
- Must be able to arrive at work on time, work on site and work cooperatively with other co-workers.
- Complete all on-line compliance Teal Training courses timely.
- Additional duties may be assigned or required by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS |EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE:
• Candidate must be, at minimum, 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Associate degree Preferred
EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
Past experience in a professional, service-oriented office and providing administrative support (bookkeeping, paralegal or paraplanner) is preferred.
*Internal Candidates: Bank CSR experience required.

Hours Required: Regularly Scheduled Hours / Week 40 hrs
Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM Extended working hours may be required.

Physical Demands
The employee must possess sufficient mobility to work in and move about in a standard office setting and sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment. Substantial time may be spent on the telephone and working on a computer, sitting and/or standing. The employee must have the ability to hear and articulate well enough to carry on a normal conversation, both in person and over the telephone. Visual abilities required by this job include the ability to read materials in either a printed format or on a computer screen. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
