Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, fee revenue, receipts, and payments. Job duties include working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports, process accounts payable and receivable, conduct periodic reconciliations, and to participate in the monthly close process. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.

Responsibilities

  • This position reports to the Corporate Controller and is responsible for full cycle accounting duties.
  • Process recurring corporate General Ledger, AP, and AR transactions.
  • Process recurring semi-monthly payroll imports and conduct associated GL reconciliations.
  • Participate in the monthly closing process.
  • Process bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate corporate books and records.
 
Position Requirements

Skills and Abilities

  • A working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Thorough, dependable, and well-organized.
  • Must be able to pass a pre­ employment background check and drug screen.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent.
  • 2-year accounting degree preferred or commensurate experience.
  • Prior bookkeeping experience: 3+ years required.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and GL chart of accounts.
  • QuickBooks experience preferred but not required.
  • Prior property management accounting experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel, data management, formatting, and formulas.
  • Excellent organization, research, and reconciliation skills.

Position Salary Range: $62,000 -$70,000 DOE

Paid time off:

  • A combined accrual of 80 hours of PTO & Vacation.
  • Up to 6 paid sick days per year. (Varies based on state sick leave laws)
  • 8 paid holidays
  • 2 paid floating holidays
