Valley Community Services Board serves as the single point of entry into publicly funded mental health, developmental, and substance use disorder services for these localities.

Description

Valley Community Services Board is seeking PRN licensed, or licensed-eligible clinicians to work with Adults in our Outpatient Program providing individual, family and group counseling for those with Mental Health and Substance Abuse conditions.

Summary of Essential Functions:

  • Provides individual, family, and group counseling services for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges, including individuals with co-occurring disorder.
  • Provides crisis stabilization and emergency services as needed.
  • Conducts mental health and substance abuse evaluations, including the evaluation of treatment needs, and develops treatment plans.
  • Administers the DLA-20 and other instruments as needed.
  • Works collaboratively with teammates and external partners to provide a range of treatments and support services.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work or related field from an accredited program.
  • LMHP supervisee or resident in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current LCSW, LPC, LSATP, or CSAC certification.
 
Position Requirements  
Salary Information $25.00 per hour
