ROHADFOX is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with regional offices throughout the United States.   Description The Cost Engineer is Responsible for coordination of estimates to assure quality control and timely completion of indirect and direct cost estimates of all bid and negotiated projects. Oversees the use and maintenance of change management logs. Works under direction of the Cost Control Manager to support the planning, coordination, and evaluation of the project financial and status reports, and presentations. Communicates promptly and effectively to requests for response, research and information, gathers answer through communications with department staff. Responsible and accountable for tracking the approved contract budgets and for issuing appropriate progress reports as required. Reviews monthly cost reports generated by the contractor and reconciles with current contractual documents. Reviews funding availability and validates funding of change orders, supplemental agreements, and work orders.   Position Requirements Develops, implements, and maintains change management control logs for use by Resident Engineers, Assistant Resident Engineers, Project Engineers, and Office Engineers. Assist Area Construction Managers, Resident Engineers, Schedulers and Estimators in the evaluating contractor change notice documentation. Assist Area Construction Managers, Resident Engineers, Assistant Resident Engineers, as requested, in the negotiation of contract changes. Coordinate with and assist Senior Scheduler in the development of the Master Schedules. Participate in constructability reviews as directed.
