Your role at MOBE:

The End User Technology Support Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Desktop Environment for MOBE employees. This position requires a mix of technical expertise and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality and timely end user support through the MOBE ticketing system
  • Support Microsoft Office products and Microsoft O365 environments (SharePoint, OneDrive, Hosted Exchange)
  • Identify and implement technical and procedural efficiencies related to increased end user satisfaction within operational and compliance/security constraints
  • Comply with project plans and software development lifecycle standards
  • Contribute to team effectiveness by completing assigned projects on time
  • Provide information by answering questions and requests
  • Diagnose root causes of service issues and drive resolution of issues
  • Maintain quality service by following organization standards
  • Perform special projects as defined by leader
  • Ability to work positively in an ever changing and growing team and workplace
  • Identify the need and create easy-to-follow procedural documentation for end users and co-workers
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Drives completion of projects and initiatives, following through on execution of chosen strategies, demonstrating an ability to stay the course despite obstacles
  • Identifies and constructively communicates the need for improvements or enhancements in MOBE technology assets
  • Other duties as assigned to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by MOBE’s Guiding Principles
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2-year associate degree in an IT related field and 2-3 years of experience providing Desktop Support or 5+ years doing desktop support without a degree
  • Ability to effectively manage Windows desktop systems
  • Experience with Multi-factor Authentication (Duo, Okta….)
  • Ability and willingness to learn new tools and applications
  • Understanding and implementation of Virtual Desktop Infrastructures (Citrix, VMware, AWS Workspaces….)
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex technical concepts to business users and management via email, phone and screen sharing
  • Experience with help desk ticketing systems.

Preferred:

  • Experience with cloud based hosted infrastructures (AWS, Azure….)
  • Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory Technologies
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment delivering results on multiple concurrent projects
  • SQL experience a plus
  • Experience with ConnectWise Manage
