Position Summary

The Institutional Relationships Associate is responsible for providing support to the Institutional Relationships (IR) Team with prospective client development, client retention and overall client satisfaction. Duties include, but are not limited to, responding to client inquiries and requests, providing support to IR Team and clients, attending and/or providing support for client meetings, and working with other teams at UCF to create a top-tier client service experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Respond to client requests for reports, information and account support by phone and email.
  • Maintain high degree of integrity with regard to confidential client data.
  • Run sales and prospecting reports from Salesforce, generate account report data from Innovue client portal, and update information in client files in both systems.
  • Provide logistical support to IR Team for meetings with prospective clients and existing clients.
  • Attend client meetings to provide notes and minutes of meetings.
  • Work with Client Services Team to process client transactions.
  • Work with Marketing & Communications Team in development of organizational communications and marketing materials.
  • Contribute ideas to the IR Team in areas of client acquisition and retention.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of and 2-3 years experience working in financial and investment services
  • Experience in customer relations or client services
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High ability to engage and work collaboratively within and among teams, managing multiple projects and priorities
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), CRM and investment-related client database/reporting programs.
  • Familiarity with or ability to understand and work with the structure and polity of the United Church of Christ and the role of United Church Funds within the denomination
  • Willingness to learn about institutional investments, endowment management, socially responsible investing
  • Highly self-motivated, strong orientation toward a customer-first philosophy, keen attention to detail, and overall positive attitude

 

Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary is dependent upon qualifications. UCF provides paid health, dental, life/disability, and pension benefits.

LOCATION: This position is offered with the possibility of deployment. Relocation to New York will not be necessary.

If not local to New York, travel to the New York office is required at a minimum of six times per year.
