This position is situated in our beautiful, serene Golden Valley office which overlooks Sweeney Lake. For the right individual, the position could eventually involve some work from home. The Patient Account Representative will collect receivables and resolve outstanding balances through auditing accounts and consulting with payers and patients, and setting up payment plans if necessary. Initiate placement of accounts with outside collection agency. Ensure bankruptcy procedures are followed according to government guidelines. The position will assist physicians and patient care coordinators with scheduling of appointments for those patients having bad debts, bankruptcy, write-offs, or accounts at collection.    Position Requirements We seek candidates with a HS education (or GED); associates degree in healthcare related field highly desired. Must have at least one year of experience in a medical office environment with emphasis on medical insurance claims processing and collection. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities required.
