Practices Joint Township District Memorial Hospital’s Professional Practice Model Principles. Works under the Supervision of the Registered Nurse. The Nurse Assistant performs a variety of basic patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient. Places the patient at the center of care practices. Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes. May be required to work on other nursing units or shifts. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Certification: Nursing assistant certification
