About the Organization  
Description

ultru is looking for a responsible goal-oriented individual interested in an assembly position for Hyster Yale Group. The Assembler is responsible for the assembly an inspection of a variety of parts, subassemblies, fluids, and accessories in order to build a lift truck. Building subassemblies including; drive axles, power trains, side shifters and header hoses, overhead guard modules, lights, hydraulic tanks, brakes, Steering columns, cowls, tires and seats. The team member will also perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Key accountabilities:

-ability to assemble lift trucks and components within a certain cycle time.

-test, inspect, make adjustments and reject parts/materials.

-proper care and usage of assembly tools, equipment, facility, and maintain general housekeeping.

-perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

-maintain adherence for a quality product and quality standards.

-promote a safe work environment

-perform routine cleaning of equipment and general housekeeping.

-support and help enforce all company policies.

-candidates identified for these opportunities will be expected to work safely, perform quality work, be available to work either shift, flexible in the acceptance of work assignment, available to work overtime as required, perform their work in a proficient and efficient manner, maintain their work area and participate in developmental programs as identified by the company.

 

Shift:

4 days per week

1st 5:00am-3:30pm $16.25/hr

2nd 4:00pm-2:30am $16.65/hr

 
Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

-general knowledge of assembly processes

-high school diploma or GED

-proficient computer skills

-Familiar with DFT techniques

-ability to read and make decisions from SOEs, OMS, shop orders, operation sheets, prints, diagrams, and written/verbal instructions.

-physical ability to perform tasks related to this assignment bend, twist, lift, kneel, reach, pull, squat, push, etc.

-safety knowledge in a manufacturing environment and proper use of PPE.
