Your role at MOBE:

As a Project-Based Student Pharmacist Intern, you will support the development and execution of medication-related services delivered in a non-traditional setting.

MOBE Clinical Pharmacists provide an array of direct-member services ranging from addressing drug-related questions, providing Comprehensive Medication Management services by identifying, preventing and resolving Medication Therapy Problems, while partnering with MOBE Guides to best support our participants. Our Medication Services center on educating members on their medications and how to modify habits that will result in optimized results and improved health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and refinement of medication-related services and educational approaches offered by MOBE
  • Assist in research and evaluation of clinical information necessary to offer cutting-edge and meaningful services
  • May assist with development and/or management of MOBE's digital application, clinical content, or clinical resources
  • Conduct research on program design, healthy equity-related topics, health outcomes, or other clinical components
  • Attend designated staff meetings and other events, as required
  • Support other projects, programs and initiatives as needed to help fulfill our Mission and abide by MOBE's Guiding Principles
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Doctor of Pharmacy student; 1st year students may be considered depending on their pre-Pharmacy experience / educational background
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – specifically, comfort with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work at least 8 hours per week based on a flexible schedule
  • Desire to engage in a non-traditional setting
  • Self-motivated, ability to execute in a remote environment
  • Minnesota pharmacist intern license may be required
