Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Senior Business Development Coordinator   Location Central Valley/Northern CA   Category Marketing   Description LSA is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Coordinator to facilitate business development and increase sales with new and existing clients throughout our nine California offices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Business Development experience in the A/E/C Industry. Potential candidates can be located anywhere throughout Central Valley/Northern California, though they have to be willing to commute to events and client meetings as needed. Essential Functions of this position include: Work with Marketing and Business Development Director to establish and execute plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the market area. Identify potential opportunities with existing and new customers. Utilize internal team (Principals, Project Managers and Marketing) in developing and executing account specific, business plan that crosses LSA disciplines and offices for long term sales. Convert leads into opportunities and then into clients. Evaluate market competitors and conditions, and provide recommendations for appropriate, actionable responses. Successful past performance in developing customer relationships, account strategies, developing a qualified pipeline, building industry relationships, and leading capture and proposal activities. Experience leading customer engagement activities with senior level executives. Use all LSA resources to prepare and coordinate sales presentation, and when appropriate, technical scoping and pricing. Active participation in conferences and trade shows with Principals and Project Management Staff. Create brand awareness and earn the respect/trust of potential clients through the attendance of industry related events, luncheons and other networking functions. Conduct personal outreach to potential leads following corporate and casual events. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. Previously closed 10+ deals of $100K or greater size. Reports to the Marketing and Business Development Director.   The salary range for this position is $71,000 to $154,000 per year. The compensation offer will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.   Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree Required 5+ years of relevant experience in A/E/C Industry Earned advanced professional certifications in their fields is a plus Results oriented – established past high conversion rate and ability to reach sales goals Proven track record of relationship and solution selling, and account management Ability to effectively present technical information to both technical and non-technical audience members Ability to write and provide time-based reports and business correspondence Flexibility to work outside normal work hours, as required Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment Must have a sense of urgency Must update and maintain Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) as required (preference if applicant has Deltek Experience) Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook Advanced verbal and written communication skills   Compensation The salary range for this position is $71,000 to $154,000 per year.
