About the Organization Founded in 1996 by parents who sought the very best treatment available to deliver opportunities to children and adolescents living with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Minnesota Autism Center (MAC) provides therapeutic services for children ages 18 months to 21 years who have ASD.



MAC's services are center-based and in-home, and include speech and occupational therapy, assessment and diagnosis services, and individual and family therapy. At any given time, MAC serves approximately 370-400 clients throughout Minnesota at 17 centers located in Eagan, Eden Prairie, Maple Grove, Fridley, Vadnais Heights, Minnetonka, Woodbury, Duluth, Virginia, Mankato, Rochester, Red Wing, New Ulm, Medford, Hutchinson and Cambridge.



 
Description

The Executive/Office Assistant is responsible for providing high-level administrative support for organization leaders to ensure they can efficiently accomplish key tasks and organization initiatives. This person will also screen all visitors and determine what level of support they need while offering polite, professional customer service.

Position Functions and Responsibilities

  • Support CEO primarily and provide additional support to executive team as directed ensuring that organization goals and objectives are accomplished
  • Coordinate calendar management for CEO
  • Manage content and flow of information to executive/board members
  • Organizing and attending meetings with executive/board members
  • Handling memos, reports, invoices, and related documents including sensitive information
  • Manage inventory supply for corporate and Autism Centers
  • Responsible for day-to-day office operations and record keeping systems
  • Greet visitors in professional manner
  • Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or client support issues under minimal supervision

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma, a secondary education level or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience working as Executive Assistant, Legal Assistant or Administrative Assistant preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong-time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the organization and its employees
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
