JOB SUMMARY: The person fulfilling this role reports directly to the Director, Consumer Insights, Brand Strategy and Marketing and is a member of the Marketing & Communications team. As the Web & Digital Production Designer team member, will have daily, ongoing and strategy interaction with the Graphic Designer as that role currently serves as the creative oversight to the brand. This individual is responsible for a myriad of roles, including the web and digital production and strategy for marketing and communications materials (customer-targeted, employee-only, internal, and external), as well as support of the entire Hancock Health enterprise brand and other Hancock Health initiatives as determined by department and the strategic plan of the organization.

The position is full-time from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required as job duties demand.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain, promote and enhance, in collaboration with Graphic Designer and Internal Communications, the graphic standards and brand guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with a variety of client personalities to successfully conceptualize, design, and complete projects.
  • Conceptualize unique visual solutions for marketing purposes.
  • Design a variety of digital projects, including but not limited video shooting/editing, interactive/web ads, video graphics, social media and digital assets, animation, photography, creative presentations, etc.
  • Work within budgetary constraints to complete projects within the assigned budget and deadlines.
  • Maintain an 'open door' policy and the ability to complete 'stat' projects.
  • Create digital templates and styles to ensure consistency in the appearance of the brand.
  • Support media strategy and placement activities as needed.
  • Assist in creating digital strategy recommendations
  • Maintain awareness of digital trends, social media trends, design trends, marketing and research tools, and other associated professional subjects.

  • Assist in executing email marketing campaigns, including design and production of HTML/Eloqua emails.
  • Help conceptualize and design digital content.
  • Assist in creation of design elements for digital media projects, including graphics, images, web ads, back­grounds, navigational elements, animated gifs, icons, and headers.
  • Adhere to Hancock Health brand and style guidelines when producing digital content.
  • Stay abreast of trends in web communication, social media, and innovative uses of digital technologies.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of a Digital Asset Management system.
  • Provide additional support to Marketing projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

  • Understanding of analytics reporting tools and web analysis measures.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks, good time-management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
  • Experience in front-end languages like HTML5 and CSS. A practical knowledge of website interfaces, cross-browser compatibility, and web standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within a fast-paced environment.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates degree in digital media, graphic design, web design, communications, or related field. Bachelor’s preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience (or equivalent) in digital marketing, digital design, UX/UI design, or project management.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Digital graphics production, use of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.

Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.

  • Experience with photography and photo retouching desired.
  • Experience with front-end web development desired.
  • Experience with the full Adobe Creative Suite desired.
  • Experience with video editing software (and best practices) desired, preferably Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Working knowledge of applying visual content to email and social media tools and best practices: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Elequa, and YouTube desired
  • Digital graphics production, use of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.

ADDITIONAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Mandatory Continuing Education: Customer Service, Fire and Safety, Corporate Compliance (including Confidentiality), Infection Control, and education required by regulatory, accreditation bodies, scope of practice, and/or Hancock Regional Hospital.
