Essential Job Duties Learn, understand, and interact with the key persona groups within the overall target audiences   Bioprocess Online and Cell & Gene.-Learn, understand, and continually update the most important topical themes and angles for the key persona groups within the overall target audiences of Bioprocess Online and Cell & Gene Create content in all relevant formats that is informed by an understanding of relevant topical themes and is designed to engage specific persona groups within Bioprocess Online and Cell & Gene Manage and host LSC Live! events, including topic ideation, securing relevant panelists, and properly hosting and managing interactions during the event Consistently merchandise relevant editorial content on personal social media accounts, product-level social media accounts, and with industry organizations and associations Produce content within the defined deadlines outlined on production schedules and productivity reports Become a well-known personality and resource for target audience of specific market Continually grow personal network of target audience readers and of specific persona groups within those target audiences Additional Job Duties Attend all editorial team meetings and relevant audience development meetings Travel to industry events to enhance personal and product reputation and, ideally, participate in event sessions Leverage personal network of industry readers to support other editors and editorial initiatives   Position Requirements Required Education Bachelor’s Degree, Marketing Required Skills / Experience Two (2) years of experience working in the Life Sciences industry, preferably in an editorial role. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with a portfolio of work and examples. Ability to work on a deadline and, specifically, create content on a deadline. Can identify and cultivate potential content ideas into actual stories for publication and posting. Experience working in the Life Sciences space in either an editorial, organizational, or marketing capacity. Comfortable in speaking to and interacting with executives and thought leaders within the Life Sciences industry. Ability to communicate – and create content – using all relevant formats (e.g. online, print, audio, video, in-person). Preferred Skills / Experience Well-versed and familiar with content creation tools, ranging from word processing to video creation to audio creation.   Benefits Description Life Science Connect offers a generous compensation package.
