Description

This effort will assist in creating a network of likeminded allies and partners with increased threat reduction capabilities that contribute and advance the interests and security of the United States of America. It will assist in building strategic relationships with key international partners that enhance threat reduction on a global scale.

The Travel Support Specialist I will assist with all areas of travel support.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Receive, track and issue Passports and Visas to support both A&AS/CTR staff.
  • Provide regular training, information papers, SOP updates and similar products to CTR/A&AS staff on evolving/new DTRA, COCOM, and partner country related entity travel rules and requirements.
  • Review passport applications before submission for correctness and completeness.
  • Create, submit, and track visa letters and appropriate documentation.
  • Train and present best practices and updated requirements to both A&AS/CTR staff.
  • Learn and support coordinated travel support services for both the A&AS staff and CTR staff, as well as other personnel supporting CTR as directed, to include: booking of airline tickets, hotels and rental cars; preparation of government travel orders, processing and maintenance of passports and visas, and processing of official country clearance cables in full compliance with the DOD foreign Clearance Guide and Classified Supplement, and with Combatant Command (COCOM), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Department of State, Embassy and DTRA rules and timelines.
  • Assist in preparing briefing material for senior leadership.
  • Document and assist in best practices across all programs.
  • Prepare, track, and distribute metrics reporting as required.
  • Support management team in developing metrics and strategies for improvement.
  • Research and assist in database administrations or similar support activities.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
