As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating digital visual text and imagery concepts that inspire, inform, and captivate potential and existing Alphalete Athletics customers. This is a full-time (40-50 hours a week, as needed), exempt position.

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Responsible for designing and creating all graphics to meet promotional needs including but not limited to, packaging, displays, logos, and digital collateral (such as banner ads, social media posts, and website graphics)

 

Other Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    1. Create new design artwork and concepts to support each clothing campaign
    2. Create product imagery by editing, retouching, and mocking up designs
    3. Create digital marketing materials including social media graphics, email marketing images, and digital ads and other assets
    4. Prepare digital artwork files for production
    5. Collaborate with other creative and marketing team members to brainstorm new ideas for product campaigns
    6. Assist with photography shoots and product styling
    7. Other job duties as assigned by management

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in graphic design and/or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  2. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in graphic design, preferably focused on business-to-consumer goods
  3. At least three (3) or more years’ experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and/or Photoshop
  4. Impeccable design skills and a keen eye for current consumer trends
  5. High attention to detail, with strong design skills including typography, composition, drawing/sketching, and digital design
  6. Functional knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
  7. Ability to work on call and respond to ad campaign emergencies when necessary
  8. Previous experience in a clothing retail environment
  9. High initiative, autonomous, and self-governing
  10. Strong critical thinker & superb attention to detail
  11. Flexible, collaborative, & a team player
  12. Strong critical thinker & superior analytical skills
  13. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with strong follow through
  14. Entrepreneurial spirit & high integrity

 

Physical / Environmental Demands:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
