eCatalyst is hiring immediately for an experienced Healthcare Vice President of Sales.

This is a HUNTER role to bring in new healthcare clients for eCatalyst.

Only considering sales hunters with CURRENT experience selling into healthcare systems, hospitals, and large clinics.

If you are selling into anything other than healthcare systems, hospitals, and large clinics, this position would NOT be the right fit.

You confidently build C-Level relationships and cross-functional influence. You have established relationships with healthcare decision makers making it easier to close the sale with a sense of urgency and in a timely manner, shortening the time from first contact to close. You have the experience to drive the executive sales process by quickly identifying actions that lead the process of closing the sale in an often complex and undefined buying process.

In this role, the National Sales Director will:

  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline for new business

  • Proactively develop strategic deals by leveraging personal and professional networks

  • Define market segments, implementing marketing strategies and developing sales plans utilizing available resources to effectively penetrate the health system, hospital and clinic markets

  • Work with marketing to develop proper messaging to reach our desired audience

  • Conduct, create and coordinate client presentations over webinars, in person and at events

  • Attend events that drive new business

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales and pipeline goals

  • Forecast and report regularly in Salesforce

 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Prior sales experience calling on national health systems, hospitals and clinics with success in closing sales in these organizations

  • Advanced understanding of the strategic sale and what is required to successfully sell complex health information management and middle revenue cycle solutions

  • Considerable contacts within health systems, hospitals and clinics, in particular, the System HIM Director/VP, Coding Director, CDI Director, VP of Revenue Cycle and Chief Financial Officer level

  • Prospect, identify and qualify new clients and new sales opportunities that meets pipeline goals.

  • Ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales goals.

  • Proven ability to interact and present ideas and strategies within health systems, hospitals and clinic organizations

  • Demonstrated experience building and implementing strategy to network and gain C-level contacts

  • Strong sense of urgency, with the drive and knowledge to navigate mutli-level relationships with complex and fluid organizations

  • Deep understanding of needs based selling strategies and ability to uncover underlying customer objections and concerns

  • Ability to think strategically and create plans unique to a prospect given their situation in the marketplace and business issues

  • Strong analytical thinker with the ability to clearly articulate a value proposition that resonates with a prospect organization and its buyers

  • Thorough understanding of the consultative, customer-focused approach to the sales process

  • Experienced in the use of Salesforce

  • Confidence in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word and Excel

PREFERRED

  • Master's degree

Work in our national headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, preferred, but work from your current location will be considered for the right candidate.
