You are welcoming and accommodating with the desire to expand your knowledge of our offerings, plaza, places, and history of the Pearl District. Essential Functions Demonstrate excellence in salesmanship, creativity, and knowledge of offerings. Responsible for the set-up, maintenance (stocking & cleaning), and operation of the bar, including making liquor drinks and serving guests in a timely manner. Keep the bar clean and organized in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department. Must maintain the organization of product and ensure all products are properly rotated. As a bartender you will have a responsibility to our patrons and their safety and must have proper certification and a thorough understanding of current laws. Make safety concerns a priority. Any spills, broken glass, or other unsafe conditions must take priority over other duties.   Position Requirements Competencies Customer service Teamwork Communicate skills (verbal and written) Physical Demands This is a very active role This job requires the associate to lift at least 45 pounds frequently and work outside Required Education and Experience High school diploma Minimum 1 year server/ hostess experience utilizing suggestive selling techniques Ability to obtain food handler certification and TABC certification At least 21 years of age Previous bartending experience preferred   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
