Job Description:

With a passion for helping others, the MOBE Team Manager will deliver engagement results which align to the company confirmed and active participant goals. Accordingly, the Team Manager will provide leadership and coaching to a team of MOBE Engagement Specialists. The MOBE Engagement Specialists connect with and engage eligible individuals in MOBE services and support MOBE Guides with Participant-related activities.

The Team Manager ensures that individual Engagement Specialists and the department are performing against department and company targets. This role will monitor Engagement Specialist performance, identifying and communicating any gaps, as well as driving needed change, which may include providing coaching and training or implementing new processes. While driving the team toward our department and company goals, it is critical that the Team Manager develops a team culture that embraces change, values learning, healthy conflict and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Coaching

  • Provide daily leadership to a team of MOBE Engagement Specialists through direction, support, motivation, team huddles, courageous dialogue and other avenues
  • Develop leads leadership skillset and capabilities
  • Conduct regular 1:1 sessions with each Engagement Specialist based on coaching protocol, reviewing current performance, conduct monitoring sessions, role-plays and discuss other pertinent information
  • Lead regularly occurring team meetings to provide business updates, education, recognition and encourage dialogue
  • Assist and lead Base Camps, New Hire Onboarding, department activities and other training
  • Serve as an integral part of the hiring process by interviewing, selecting and onboarding new employees

Operations

  • Perform opening and closing duties for the department, as needed
  • Adjust workflow and responsibilities according to business and operational needs
  • Monitor and evaluate Engagement Specialist both real-time and historical productivity, quality, performance, time and attendance and provide coaching and corrective action as needed

Continuous Improvement

  • Assess campaign progress and success, identifying improvements to share within department and cross functionally
  • Monitor overall Engagement Specialist and department performance, identifying gaps in performance, communicating gaps, implementing and managing change
  • Identify process, scripting, training and other avenues for improvement
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives, pivoting as needed
  • Serve as back up for outreach and outbound engagement activities, based on workload

  • Prioritize and organize own work as well as the work of others to meet deadlines
  • Maintain flexibility, be open to new ideas, and be willing to take on new responsibilities
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development
  • Ensure MOBE client satisfaction by resolving and responding to Participant issues and requests
  • Identify and constructively communicate the need for improvements or enhancements in MOBE products and services; drive continuous improvement in the MOBE program
  • Onboard new staff members
  • All other duties as assigned to help fulfill our Mission and abide by MOBE’s Guiding Principles
 
Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field preferred or 3 years equivalent experience
  • 5 – 7 years relevant professional experience
  • Minimum one year inside sales leadership experience or mentorship role, preferably with coaching or working telephonically with consumers
  • 1+ years of proven sales experience success required in direct consumer sales, preferably telephonic and healthcare related
  • Must be self-motivated and work well independently
  • Excellent collaboration, drive for results, and organizational excellence
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to interface and effectively present to senior management
  • Excellent project management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines, and demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to build a collaborative culture and relationships across the organization and with external strategic partners
  • Proven ability to influence course of action when others are directly accountable for outcomes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills
