We are currently seeking individuals excited to explore the endless opportunities within our Edgewood Family.   Description Position Summary:   The Activities Coordinator assists the Activities Manager in coordinating events. This position serves as the guest and vendor liaison for both the hotel and non-hotel services and activities in collaboration with the Activities Manager. The activities team manages day to day resort activities throughout all seasons, to include yoga, lawn games watersports, boat rental, fly-fishing, nature hikes, mountain activities, ice skating, snow-shoe hikes, and many more resort activities also in collaboration with the Edgewood Marketing team and the Banquets team. A successful candidate must be engaging and overly hospitable to our guest, interested in developing and executing new resort activities, and comfortable working independently and enjoy administrative work. In this position you exhibit excellence in your commitment to our guests and reimagining luxury hospitality in our amazing environment.   Essential Functions: Welcome guests upon arrival to scheduled events. Managing all reservations. Taking inventory of current games/supplies and ordering what is needed. Liaison with other departments about planned activities and impact on normal operations. Responsible for building and maintaining a schedule for all Activity Dept team members. Calling all guests signed up for the day’s events, confirming attendance and informing guest of what they will need to bring and what to anticipate. Confirming all details of events scheduled and fluid communication with Edgewood team. Dealing with outside vendors including booking, processing paperwork, and assisting in a timely payment process. Set up and break down of scheduled events. Build rapport with guests and provide them with support and guidance. Understand guest needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the hotel. Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make suitable active recommendations. Enforce established safety rules and policies as they pertain to our activities. Provides excellent customer service to internal and external vendors. Will have point of sale responsibilities as some activities require team to ring up a bill and process payment Other duties as assigned.   Position Requirements Qualification/Skills: High school diploma or equivalent Experience with hotel operations software Microsoft Office, Outlook High attention to detail   Shift Days   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Category Sales and Marketing   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
