We are currently seeking individuals excited to explore the endless opportunities within our Edgewood Family.   Description Position Summary: The Coffee Bar Supervisor has the opportunity to put the first luxury experience in our guests’ day. This position assists the Bistro Restaurant Managers with the daily supervision of the Coffee Bar. The Coffee Bar Supervisor is a working supervisor position, charged with the development and supervision of the baristas and product offerings. The most important characteristic of our team is that we love inspiring lasting memories for our guests. In this position you exhibit excellence in your commitment to our guests. Reimagine luxury hospitality with us. Essential Functions:   Practices Food & Beverage Edgewood standards, documented policies, and procedures. Organize supplies and product and monitor food quantities and quality. Communicate pars, needs and equipment status with leadership. Take ownership of the department, lead, motivate and foster a team-oriented work environment. Follow proper cash handling procedures, prepare guest checks, and collect payments. Follows proper food handling and sanitary procedures. Work alongside and support baristas, work shifts. Assist with properly scheduling staff for business demands. Participate in development of drink recipes, seasonal offerings, and merchandise offerings. Ensure interactions with guests meet expectations and receive an excellent experience. Act as quality control, ensuring guest satisfaction through properly training team members adhering to company policy. Handle inquiries, requests, complaints. Ensures cleanliness and sanitation standards are met. Motivating and delegating tasks to team members and making sure they are carried out accordingly. Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.   Position Requirements Qualifications / Special Skills:   Previous Coffee Shop experience preferred. Previous supervisor experience preferred. Must be passionate in developing and mentoring others within the operation. Strong and confident verbal and written communication skills required. Possess exceptional problem solving and people skills. Have confidence, self-drive and be enthusiastic while making decisions in a time pressured environment. Be responsible in handling challenging situations.
