Share Email Opening Title IT Support Specialist  Description Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team! The IT Support Specialist is responsible for staff support in the following areas: desktop/laptop problem resolution, software installation/configuration, data protection, internet and network connectivity verification and problem resolution, first line telephone and face to face customer contact. Essential Job Duties: Support for the initial setup & continued operation, configuration and optimization of network servers, desktops/laptops, some networking devices, and all installed software.Creates images for desktop setup. Maintain Active Directory (AD) environment. Comply with standards of organization and administration of the computer and user bins according to documented procedures and the recommendations of the Network Administrator Assist the Network Administrator with maintenance of the Windows Software Update Service (WSUS) to proactively address systemic flaws and vulnerabilities that could adversely affect continued business operations Maintain Symantec Antivirus Server and clients providing virus protection to all server and desktop/laptop clients Provide full service first line support to staff during normal business hours and after-hours telephone and remote support as required Assist with administration of backup and data servers, NAS and other file servers in accordance with HIPPA and Center rules and policies Maintain and configure Exchange Server & coordinate user setup with Communications/IT Support Specialist Support for servers, network and desktop hardware, software and applications Manages projects related to network infrastructure, server evolutions and desktop software releases Provide first line support for cellular and air card technologies. Elevate to second tier technical support as required and follow up until resolution is reached   Position Requirements Job Requirements: I.T. Degree, equivalent certification or a combination of formal education and experience required. Strong desire to continue education, skills and certification Proven ability to use industry procedures and tools to effectively maintain and administer the business network Knowledge administering Active Directory, Exchange and Microsoft Server products Demonstrated knowledge administering Windows desktop operating systems to include installation, patching, configuration and troubleshooting Ability to provide telephone and in person customer support to a wide range of computer user skill levels Excellent communication abilities both written and verbal   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Hours Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm   Division Wyandot Behavioral Health Network, Inc.   About the Organization Wyandot Behavioral Health Network (Wyandot BHN) is a family of organizations serving the behavioral health needs of Wyandotte County, Kansas, and beyond.
