As a Business Transformation Manager, you understand the need to focus on end-to-end customer experiences while driving an agile business model. We’re looking for tech talent like you to drive change throughout our organization – to drive best-in-class system capabilities and cost efficiencies through a digitized business transformation leveraging Infor M3 as the backbone and core of our operations. In this role, you will have ownership of the processes and supporting applications involved in our Order to Ship process.

What You Will Do

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct the development, implementation, maintenance and support for customer and order management applications and related partner integrations, both directly and through a team of knowledgeable direct reports
  • Engage in complex problem solving with both business users and development resources
  • Act as a key liaison between IT, Customer Service, Sales operations, and other key business stakeholders to drive automation and process improvement projects to completion
  • Increase sales productivity through process simplification and automation
  • Ensure adoption of existing systems through a thoughtful, strategic, and measurable approach to user education and system rationalization
  • Identify new system capabilities as they become available, including opportunities to leverage integrations between platforms
  • Serve as a program manager, acting as or directing other project managers for enterprise-wide technology initiatives and/or multiple unrelated application projects
  • Create documentation in support of business and technology requests (includes business/data requirements, data flows, data modeling, workflow context)
  • Lead and manage team of Business Analyst and Application Support staff

 

What You Will Need

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology, engineering, or business discipline (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a business systems analyst role related to ERP and customer order applications (Infor M3 experience preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience leading teams in successful implementation and support of large and complex business systems / ERP
  • Proven application expertise relevant to business processes and functions across customer order management in a distribution company and specifically related to customer service, sales and fulfillment areas
  • Experience with (and comprehensive understanding of) partner integrations and related technologies such as EDI and API toolsets

 

Knowledge & Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of current best practices in order management and fulfillment processes with a track record of success in managing and implementing related solutions
  • Able to diagnose and solve technical or process issues and evaluate impact on business; able to provide alternative solutions as required
  • Deep understanding to B2B integration strategies, policies, and technologies such as EDI and API toolsets; ability to support development of scalable and flexible partner integrations
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience
  • Experienced in collection and documentation of business requirements and the transfer of those requirements into a sound technical solution
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong personal integrity, and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to manage the recruitment, development, retention, and organization of the applications support and business analyst team
  • People leader who acts as a positive role model, influencing and motivating others, enhancing the team’s ability to contribute to the organizational goals; demonstrated commitment to the ongoing professional development of team members

 

Physical Demands

Sedentary work. Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally, and other sedentary criteria are met.
