In this role, you will have ownership of the processes and supporting applications involved in accounting functions and financial reporting.   Benefits You Will Enjoy Competitive Salary Generous Paid Time Off Health, Dental, and Vision packages to fit your needs Additional voluntary supplemental insurance plans Fully-vested 401(k) company match Tuition Assistance Program Career Pathing Program Generous employee discount Full range access at our Big Springs Shooting Complex Opportunity to work alongside people who are passionate about adventure and the outdoors!   What You Will Do Main Duties & Responsibilities Manage and direct the development, implementation, maintenance and support for accounting, general ledger, and financial reporting applications and related partner integrations, both directly and through a team of knowledgeable direct reports Act as a key liaison between IT, AR, AP, and other key accounting stakeholders to drive automation and process improvement projects to completion Increase productivity through process simplification and automation Ensure adoption of existing systems through a thoughtful, strategic, and measurable approach to user education and system rationalization Identify new system capabilities as they become available, including opportunities to leverage integrations between platforms Serve as a project manager, directing colleagues, internal and external resources for enterprise-wide technology initiatives and business process improvement projects Engage in complex problem solving with both business users and development resources Create documentation in support of business and technology requests (includes business/data requirements, data flows, data modeling, workflow context) Lead and manage team of Business Analyst and Application Support staff   What You Will Need Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in an accounting, technology, or business discipline Minimum 5 years of experience in a business systems analyst role related to ERP accounting modules and ancillary applications (Infor M3 experience preferred) Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams in successful implementation and support of large and complex business systems / ERP Proven application expertise relevant to business processes and functions across accounting functions in a distribution company and specifically related to AR, AP, GL, costing and financial reporting Experience with (and comprehensive understanding of) financial system integrations and related technologies such as ACH and API toolsets   Knowledge & Technical Skills Strong knowledge of current best practices in finance and accounting with a track record of success in managing and implementing related solutions Good understanding of the related ERP system capabilities and ability to setup and configure system to match the needs of business processes and reporting Strong business acumen demonstrated as an innovative systems analyst with a strong customer-centric mindset Demonstrated project management skills and experience Able to diagnose and solve technical or process issues and evaluate impact on business; able to provide alternative solutions as required Experienced in collection and documentation of business requirements and the transfer of those requirements into a sound technical solution Excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong personal integrity, and teamwork abilities Proven ability to manage the recruitment, development, retention, and organization of the applications support and business analyst team People leader who acts as a positive role model, influencing and motivating others, enhancing the team’s ability to contribute to the organizational goals; demonstrated commitment to the ongoing professional development of team members   Physical Demands Sedentary work. Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools.
