Share Email Opening Title Operations Specialist  Category Operations   Description Position Overview The position plans and supervises company functions and activities throughout the day-to-day operations on sites. Implementation and management of projects including the coordination, performance, and execution of construction services for projects. The position provides support for the various precast concrete manufacturing plant efforts in safety, quality, cost reduction, continuous improvement, and change management. Responsible for assuring that the quality of the work meets or exceeds requirements, and maintains the standard of excellence established by Wilbert Funeral Services Inc. Essential Job Functions Manage multiple projects, vendors, and contractors as related to the implementation of strategic plans Determine supplies and materials needed to complete projects Obtain all necessary permits and licenses for capital projects as necessary Perform cost/benefit financial analyses to determine project efficacy Work with site management teams to optimize plant efficiencies and reduce waste Work with Accounting and Operations staffs to identify and act on cost saving strategies   Position Requirements Qualifications B.S. degree in Construction Science or Concrete Management 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general building construction Good understanding of project change administration and the effect of the quality aspects of the project Solid understanding of means and methods of construction for civil project work and/or the renovation of commercial and industrial facilities Proficient with computer software used in the construction industry Ability to travel Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work as a team player and interact with customers and partners in a professional and courteous manner Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills Possess the energy and drive to accomplish goals, meet deadlines and find solutions Self-motived, independent thinker Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check and drug screening NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
