You are welcoming and accommodating with the desire to expand your knowledge of our offerings, plaza, places, and history of the Pearl District. The Server is responsible for face-to-face customer interaction, offer recommendations using suggestive selling techniques where appropriate, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Food Hall dining areas and common areas. Compensation $18.00 an hour    Essential Functions Performance is measured based on ability to provide pro-active face to face recommendations, timely deliveries and maintaining the cleanliness of the Food Hall area that exceeds the guest’s experience for a seamless dining experience. Servers are responsible for coordinating the delivery of food and beverages tableside. Provide recommendation of offerings utilizing suggestive selling techniques. Front and back of the house maintenance and completion of cleaning schedule to include but not limited to table and floor maintenance, remove and disposal of trash containers, walk-in cooler, washrooms, windows, etc. Make safety concerns a priority. Any spills, broken glass, or other unsafe conditions must take priority over other duties.   Position Requirements Competencies Customer service Teamwork Communicate skills (verbal and written)   Physical Demands This is a very active role. This job requires the associate to lift at least 45 pounds frequently.     Required Education and Experience High school diploma, minimum 1 year server, hostess experience utilizing suggestive selling techniques. Ability to obtain food handler certification and TABC certification. At least 21 years of age.     Benefits PTO (paid-time-off) after 30 days of employment, pro-rated based on the actual hire date. PTO is accrued January 1st of each year. Seven (7) paid holidays per year. In addition, the company will match 100% of the first 3% contributed and then 50% of the next 2% contributed by you. The company match is fully vested when contributed.
