As a Customer Service Agent, you will interact with Alphalete’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Interacts with customers via email, online chat, or telephone to provide support and information on products or services.
  2. Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.
  3. Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representatives knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
  4. Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer problems and concerns.
  5. Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  6. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Customer service experience required.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  5. Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  6. Strong typing skills - minimum of 60 words per minute.

 

Physical / Environmental Demands:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
