LERETA is an industry leader with an enormous focus on technology, innovation, and commitment to service excellence.   Open Date 3/1/2023   Position Data Conversion Specialist   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   Category Information Technology   Location Pomona   Req Number INF-23-00001   Description The primary responsibility of the Data Conversion Specialist is for the development of mapping programs to convert data from a variety of input files into standard formats to load into the Tax Application database or other tax servicing systems. This position will also develop reporting, data analysis, and other tools in a variety of applications to assist the business and development teams in meeting departmental standards and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Data file load processing Manages assigned tasks in Global 360 to ensure data files flow through the system in accordance with the companies reporting calendar Develops mapping programs to convert data received from tax collectors and external vendors to post to the Tax Application database or other Tax servicing systems as needed Develops programs and enhancements to existing tools to ensure all tools meet internal and client requirements Reviews and monitor programs, enhancements and tools on a regular basis, ensures best practices are being utilized Monitors data loads to ensure accurate posting Provides reports to management on a regular basis, reports and recommends solutions as issues arise Ensures client SLAs are adhered to and met on a consistent basis. Provides out of standard issues immediately Reviews existing applications, makes recommendations, and works with IT development team to make changes and enhancements SALARY RANGE $56,779 $75,705   Position Requirements Core Competencies: Ability to read Hex, ASCII, EBCDIC and Packed Numbers Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills Good communication skills – written and verbal Ability to interface at all levels within the organization Ability to decode technical data into layman’s terms Ability to read Hex, ASCII, EBCDIC and Packed Numbers Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Experience with data conversion tools required Experience developing tools and applications in a variety of formats including Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel Experience with SyncSort, Microsoft Office, SQL, Oracle and Serena Dimensions     EOE Statement We are an Equal Employment/ Affirmative Action Opportunity employer.
