Camp Bow Wow® provides a fun, safe, and upscale environment for dogs to play all day while receiving lots of love and attention! We provide doggy day camp for clients wishing to drop their dogs off in the morning and pick them up in the evening, as well as overnight boarding for travelers. Overnight campers play in the day camp program during the day and have their own individual cabins at night. The camp concept provides the highest levels of fun, safety and service for our pets, and peace of mind for their pet parents.   Description Camp Bow Wow is looking for kennel attendants to take care of the dogs attending day camp or boarding at Camp Bow Wow. The job requires you to be on time, make sure the dogs play safely together, follow a set schedule for feeding and cleaning, and most importantly, love dogs! The position includes the following responsibilities: Caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes in our all-day play environment. Ensuring the safety of the dogs by following strict operations policies. Learning about dog behavior and pet first aid. Engaging in healthy play with dogs in play yards. Providing food and water to the dogs during the day. Managing dogs in your care to proactively avoid any scuffles in the play yards. Ensuring a clean and sanitary facility. Cleaning up dog waste in play yards. Knowing the names and personalities of dogs in your care. Making sure all dogs are monitored for any cuts or scrapes while at play. Standing on your feet for at least two hours and cleaning. It is a very labor-intensive environment. Being in view of cameras engaging in healthy play with dogs of all sizes. Ensuring daily checklist gets done in timely manner. Communicating effectively with customers and other employees. Demonstrating a positive, fun attitude! Kennel attendants are typically scheduled to work six (6) hours per day for up to five (5) days per week, including weekends and holidays. Morning and afternoon shifts are available and flexible schedules are desirable.
